Reviews and Ratings
Waking up to the view each morning was spectacular at this hotel with spacious rooms that truly offer value for the money in Switzerland. However, the rooms are a little on the small side with a side view out the rear of the hotel, so not much of a view at all.
My stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall. The rooms were very clean and relatively spacious, and the balcony was large, providing a nice touch. However, the duplex layout may not be suitable for families with very young children. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to assist. The location right behind the Wengen train station was convenient for exploring the village, and the views of the Jungfrau from the hotel were breathtaking. The dining experience was satisfying with a diverse menu, but some may find the options limited. The facilities were well-maintained and added to my pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, although not overly spacious, had a lovely balcony with a picturesque view of the station and mountains, but unfortunately, the nearby church bell ringing throughout the night was quite disruptive. The staff was friendly and helpful, but there were some confusions due to language barriers. The location was great, offering easy access to the train station and other amenities, although bathing options in the area were limited. The dining experience was decent, with a satisfactory breakfast buffet. Overall, a decent stay with some drawbacks to consider.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although clean and with a fabulous view, felt like slightly well-appointed dorm rooms with some drawbacks like thin towels and hard mattresses. The service was top-notch, especially the friendly staff, but there were some issues that arose later. The location was great, offering easy access to various attractions, but there were concerns about security in the area. The dining experience was excellent, although it could have offered a few more cooked dishes. Overall, despite some shortcomings, the hotel provided good value for money with its amenities and services.
The hotel is perfectly situated for a good night's sleep with stunning views of the valley but may be disrupted by the loud bell from the nearby church. Great for resting but less ideal for staying in. Rooms offer a picturesque vista of Lauterbrunnen village below.
The hotel has a stunning view and convenient room availability, but the rooms felt cramped and outdated. The service is friendly and very accessible, with the train station just steps away, making it a breeze to explore the area. The location is excellent for skiing and exploring the area, with a great view of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The dining options are adequate with a nice buffet, but could use more variety. Facilities are well-maintained with natural products. The price is competitive compared to other villages, offering value for money.
